<br>Finishing a track requires a lot of work and discipline. Bravo for that and for having the courage to upload it to a release!</br> <br>What happens next?</br> <br>– Keep an eye on your email (and phone) - especially during the Selection in progress phase!</br> <br>Why? Three reasons. First off, the creator of the release might make their decision early. Just because the Selection in progress phase has a deadline doesn't mean that the selection cannot be made earlier. Second, the creator of the release may opt for a <a href="https://welcometogate.com/faq/solution/47" target="_blank" ><u>background check</u></a> as part of the selection process. If your track gets selected as signed, they might email you with additional questions. And third, as soon as the selected tracks are officially announced, we will email you letting you know whether your track was selected. Check your Spam folder regularly too.</br> <br>– Please do NOT make your track(s) public, not on Facebook, Soundcloud, or anywhere else. That’s because your track is unreleased, so the public is not supposed to hear it. You may share the link to the release page though. </br> <br>– If you’ve submitted to a remix release, then please note that it is illegal to use the downloaded stems other than for that release.</br> <br>– If your track gets selected as signed track or runner-up, it will be publicly featured with its real name and title on the release page. Signed tracks will also be featured on our homepage and in the release overview.</br> <br>Good luck!</br>
