You choose to perform or skip a 2-week background check.</FONT></br> <br>If you choose to perform the background check, you will receive an email from us that will guide you step by step through the process. <a href="https://welcometogate.com/faq/solution/47"_blank" ><u>Find out more on the background check.</u></a></br> <br><FONT COLOR="#819590">2. Your selected tracks are announced. Your selection phase is now complete!</FONT></br> <br>If your release is private, only registered users who agree to the confidentiality terms in our <a href="https://welcometogate.com/terms-conditions" target="_blank" ><u>Read our Terms and Conditions</u></a> may access it. However, your signed and runner-up tracks will be shared publicly on the G=TE players and in our email announcement.</br> <br>And, if you've requested that the public should not be able to listen to the tracks until the release is out (published), then they will be informed of your decision (with actual artist and title), but they won't be able to listen to them until your release is out. (<a href="https://welcometogate.com/faq/solution/29"_blank" ><u>Why do we ask for your future publication date of your signed tracks?</u></a>)</br> <br><FONT COLOR="#819590">3. You will receive an email from us with your next steps.</FONT></br> <br>These next steps will include you emailing the producers of your signed tracks and runner-ups, arranging their payment and shipping, and their handover to you of their track and any additional files.</br> <br>As a general reminder, payments (other than royalties) and incentives have to be delivered by you within 30 days.</br>
