Legal – Post-Selection Terms
How long may the creator of the release commercially exploit the signed tracks?
Under the Post-Selection Terms, the creator of the release has the right to commercialize the signed tracks for 3 years whilst remunerating the producers with royalties.

The two parties may agree in writing to extend the period for 12 months intervals. They may also agree in writing to terminate the commercialization period, in which case they must both agree.

In the event that the royalties deriving from the commercialization of the signed track do not reach a certain minimum amount (the Minimum Royalty Threshold as set out in the Post-Selection Terms) in 2 consecutive 6-month intervals, the producer may request the termination of the commercialization period, and the reversion of the rights.
