When is a track considered published (released)?
On G=TE a track is considered published (released) when three things are fulfilled by the label:

– The track comes out in a release format (digital and/or vinyl, depending on what was declared in the release), and it is

– Distributed, and

– Promoted on (their existing) channels, starting with their official website (this can be for ex. Facebook if they don't have an actual standalone website).

This goes alongside Wikipedia's definition of 'release' as usually a creative output from an artist available for sale or distribution. It is a broad term covering the many different forms music can be released in, such as singles, EPs, or as albums.
