If I want to both create releases and submit tracks to other releases, do I need two different accounts?
No. You can do all that with one account.

G=TE has a simple approach. You can act as producer and label with just one account.

This means that with one account you can:

1. Submit tracks as a producer.

2. Create releases for your own label.

When we say 'own label' - what we mean is that you could either be the actual owner (founder) of the label, or an official delegate of that label. We may ask you for proof when you submit your release. If you own more than one label, then you need an additional account for each of them.

3. Create releases when you have an upcoming release on someone else’s label (not your own).

In this case, we call you a 'release owner'. And you are basically a producer with an upcoming release on someone else’s label. There is no label limit per account when participating as a release owner.

To sum up, if you own multiple labels, you need a different account for each label. As a release owner, you are free to create as many releases as you want for as many different labels as you want from your current account.

Tip: You have a limit of three artist names per account. If you have more than three, then you need a second account.
