Track – Submit a track
What do I need to know to submit a track?
<br>When you submit a track on G=TE:</br>
<br>– Your track must be unreleased</br>
<br>– Your track must be full-length</br>
<br>– Your track must be 100% original: <a href="https://welcometogate.com/faq/solution/86"_blank" ><u>We've created a checklist, so you can be sure that your track is 100% original</u></a></br>
<br>– Size: Less than 500 MB</br>
<br>– Format: MP3</br>
<br>– Mixed or mastered? It can vary per release – check the release page you're submitting to</br>
<br>– Track title field: If you are submitting to a remix release, add the word '(Remix)' in parentheses to your track's title. If you have featuring artists, add them at the end after the word ‘feat.’ (example: Techno summer nights (Remix) feat. Sarah Welsh).</br>
<br>– Track artist field: Here will be your artist name here. Or the name of your group if you are submitting as part of a group. </br>
<br>– Track collaborator field: If you’ve co-produced this track, you can add here your co-producer(s) by using '&' (Example: & John Wick)</br>
<br>Please note that the track's title and artist are not visible during the release to anyone. The creator of the release will listen to all the submitted tracks and select the favorite one(s) blindly, without knowing who is behind them or what they are called. The track will become visible if it gets selected, as it will be announced publicly on G=TE and in our emailing.</br>
<br>– If a release allows for more than 1 track per producer, you don't need to upload all your tracks all at once. </br>
<br>– Order of submission: If you upload multiple tracks to a release, the order can matter. When there are lots of submissions, the creator may use the 'Show one track per producer' toggle to listen more efficiently. When this toggle is on, tracks are grouped by producer and played one at a time - similar to flipping through records in a shop. If a track stands out, the creator can expand that producer’s section to hear the rest. If you have a favorite track, maybe upload it first. It’ll be the one played first when this toggle is enabled.</br>
