<br>The idea behind G=TE is to create a home for a particular corner of electronic music – what we like to call, for lack of a better term, 'the less commercial side of electronic music'. (Of course, 'less' and 'more' commercial are subjective terms, but this is the best way we’ve found to describe it.)</br> <br>When you create a release on G=TE, please avoid the more commercial genres, such as EDM, trance, dance, big room, electro pop, dubstep, electro house, future house, hard dance, hardcore, goa, psy-trance, reggae/dancehall, and similar styles – these simply aren't what G=TE focuses on. The same applies within techno: please avoid EDM-influenced, big room, festival-style or hard dance-influenced techno. Instead, G=TE focuses on underground techno such as industrial, hypnotic, deep, raw, minimal, dub, and experimental styles.</br> <br>Why? Our focus on "music first" on this platform is not something they identify with, rather the opposite. There are already plenty of great platforms for those sounds – a quick Google search will lead you to several.</br> <br>When you hover over a release, you might see specific genres listed – that is the genre you should create your track for that release.
